Master Electrical
Scope- Tests a candidate's knowledge of the design, plan, installation, repair, alteration, and maintenance of electric conductors, raceways, and equipment for light, heat, and power.
 
Journeyman Electrical
Scope - Tests a candidate's knowledge of the planning, installation, repair, alteration, and maintenance of electric conductors, raceways, and equipment for light, heat, and power.
 
Master Residential Electrical
Scope- Tests a candidate's knowledge of the design, plan, installation, repair, alteration, and maintenance of electric conductors, raceways, and equipment for light, heat, and power in one-, two-, and three-family dwellings.
 
Journeyman Residential Electrical
Scope- Tests a candidate's knowledge of the planning, installation, repair, alteration, and maintenance of electric conductors, raceways, and equipment for light, heat, and power in one-, two- and threefamily dwellings.
 
Residential Appliance Electrical
Scope- Tests a candidate's knowledge of the installation, repair, alteration, and maintenance of electric conductors and raceways intended to supply power to electrical appliances. The branch circuit supplying power to the appliance shall originate from an existing disconnect or power outlet.
 
Low Voltage Electrical
Scope - Tests a candidate's knowledge of the design, plan, installation, repair, alteration, and maintenance of electric conductors operating at 30 volts or less for motor controls, intrusion detection, fire detection, sound, signaling, and communication systems.
 
Burglar and Fire Alarm Installation
Scope- Tests a candidate's knowledge of the design, plan, installation, repair, alteration, and maintenance of intrusion detection, fire detection, and signaling systems.
 
Sound, Dignaling and Commuinications Systems Electrical
Scope- Tests a candidate's knowledge of the design, plan, installation, repair, alteration, and maintenance of telephone, data, intercom, and CATV systems.
 
Electrical Maintenance
Scope- Tests a candidate's knowledge of the maintenance of existing electrical systems operating at 480 volts or less. Exam is limited to the repair, alteration, and relocation of existing electrical branch circuits and equipment.
 
Elevator Electrical
Scope- Tests a candidate's knowledge of the planning, installation, repair, alteration, and maintenance of electric conductors, raceways, and equipment associated with the installation of elevators and escalators.
 
Master Electrical Sign
Scope- Tests a candidate's knowledge of the design, plan, installation, repair, alteration, and maintenance of electric conductors, raceways, and equipment associated with electric signs. The branch circuit supplying power to the sign shall originate from an existing disconnect or power outlet.
 
Journeyman Electrical Sign
Scope- Tests a candidate's knowledge of the planning, installation, repair, alteration, and maintenance of electric conductors, raceways, and equipment associated with electric signs. The branch circuit supplying power to the sign shall originate from an existing disconnect or power outlet.
 
Burglar Alarm Electrical
Scope- Tests a candidate's knowledge of the design, installation, maintenance and alteration of burglar alarm circuits and equipment.
 
Fire Alarm Electrical
Scope- Tests a candidate's knowledge of the design, installation, maintenance, alteration and testing of fire alarm circuits and equipment.
 
Lightning Protection Electrical
Scope- Tests a candidate's knowledge of the installation, maintenance, alteration and testing of lightning protection systems and equipment.
 
Distribution and Transmission Electrical
Scope- Tests a candidate's knowledge of the planning, installation, repair, alteration and maintenance of electrical distribution and transmission systems.
